Time of past OR future Camino
(Plan to bicycle the Camino France/Camino de Santiago in 2014)
First question from a virgin newbie planning to cycle the Camino France/Camino de Santiago in June of 2014.
Question: I need a good map to plan routes to and from. Any recomendations on which maps to use that are current and complete?
Thanks, torreyjames.

I used the French Michelin (yellow) maps when I cycled across France on my way to San Jean. I could not find maps of a similar scale for Spain. There is however, a small, lightweight guide/atlas of the French route that I found in San Jean. It was very helpful. It gave distance, elevation and listed SOME but certainly not all of the Albergues en route. Then I met another cyclist in Sevilla who had a road atlas of Spain that was very detailed. It was pretty big and cumbersome. Unfortunately I don't remember the scale. You can find these as you go. I bought my maps of France in London.
