We are in Espinal! Sipping tinta at Alburque Haizea. Lots of wind today on walk from Valcarlos. Great to be relaxing!

I stayed there in March 2015 with a peregrina who had walked with me from Valcarlos. We were the only people in the large room - other folks were staying in private rooms - it was amazingly clean, great showers, lift to upper floors & great evening meals & good breakfast. Can’t remember the cost. Also a shop on the left up on the hill as you walk out of the village selling bread, fruit etc. Buen Camino!
