Time of past OR future Camino
(Plan on walking in early June of 2014)
A friend and I will be doing our hike in sections: SJPDP to Burgos. Anyone know how to get back to the U.S. from Burgos? Is there and airport there or nearby.

Thanks ahead of time!

There is a poorly served airport in Burgos:

Depending on your flights from USA ... You're best off taking the Renfe train to Madrid.

Bus station is located downtown Burgos close to the cathedral and service to Madrid is frequent. There are buses to T4 Barajas airport.

Which airport do you fly into? You should be able to get a train or bus to connect with your point of entry.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Thanks

Thanks!

Wayfarer, we fly into Paris. We were thinking it might be easier to fly out closer to our exit point on the Camino.

As whariwharangi said you could fly back to Paris from Bilbao or you could travel to Madrid and fly out from there.
