Hi all,

Am planning to walk Le Puy-SJPP starting around Sept 21st. Any others going to be going around then?

I walked the Camino Frances to [SJPP-Finisterre] in Sept-Oct 2011. Like the idea of doing Le Puy and ending up where I started 4 years ago.

Hi Zazee,
I've been reading this forum with excitement over the last few months. I'll be departing Le Puy on the 5th October, so will be a few weeks behind you, though am crossing my fingers the weather won't be too much colder!
I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time, and it will be nice finishing where you'd previously started,
Rhi

Hi, I won’t be there in Sep unfortunately, but I did exactly the same. St Jean to Santiago one year, then Le Puy to St Jean the following year. The problem is, when I reached St Jean, I kept on walking . . . .
Bon chemin!

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I'll be starting from Le Puy 09 Sept 15. I finished the Camino Frances 05 July 15. I have just about healed up and put back 10 lbs so I'll see if I can do another 500 miles. Since I try to do only 15-20 k a day you should catch me somewhere along the way. Easy to spot - old guy 6'3".

My wife and I have twice hiked on the Le Puy route from late September into October and have found that some gites (and even one hotel) close in early October. So my advice is the same as that provided by many other previous posters here - best to call and reserve a day or so ahead.

Bon chemin.

Thanks for the tip, I had noticed (in the MMDD) that some gites close around that time, so will definitely make sure I plan and call a day or two ahead.
