Hello eleanor x. Here's a couple of suggestions: You want to get on the Camino del Piamonte. In Lourdes, go up the hill (highway) to Neige. Make a right, and u r on GR 10, follow that road. Once you arrive at Candanchu you are on the Camino Aragones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wm4tOnJHm1I portion in Spain. Follow it in a "downwards" direction, it will lead u to Jaca. Another possibility is to walk in the direction of Oloron-St-Marie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WF-LkjFhoH8, which puts u on the French side of the Camino Aragones. Follow it to the Col de Somport. Both routes are well signaled + have awesome sceneries. There are other Caminos over the Pyrenees to Jaca, these may be the two most used today. I encourage u to take a guidebook. Anton Pombo's Spanish-language guidebook is excellent. There must be English language guidebooks. Buen Camino, peregrina, xm 8)
