Anyone know if the albergue in Mataelpino is open at the moment, please? It was closed apparently a few weeks ago for maintenance.

Yes it is open I stayed there April 4th

April 10th it was closed) but I guess they had a plenty of time to fix it. Anyhow, better to call them

Yes, stayed there on 17th April. Ring the number on the door and leave a message. The hospitalero works as a bee keeper as well as renovating the albergues. Only microwave and a small shop with adequate supplies
