Time of past OR future Camino
CAMINO SANTIAGO
I started walking the Camino in April but by the time I reached Burgos I realised I was No longer enjoying the experience. This in part was due to having spent the Winter hiking in Southern Spain I just wanted some home time...to work on my garden and see my friends.I also missed my partner who had not wanted to walk the Camino as he likes the peace of high mountains.
I am intending to return the last week of September and spend four weeks continuing to Santiago.I will be starting just after Burgos flying into Bilbao
What is the weather likely to be?Will be staying in pensions/small hotels which I hope will still be open in October.
Although I intend to walk alone it would be great to meet a few friendly faces along the way.The great thing about starting at SJ is the Camino family you get at the start

Buen Camino! Bilbao is a lovely place do go see the Guggenheim! A hour walking around the outside the inside? No reason. Burgos? Take the tour at the monasterio de Santa María la Real de Las Huelgas just as you leave Burgos and YES by all means the Museo de la Evolución Humana (human evolution) - even if you are not attracted by prehistory if nothing else for the building! The Camino is very much "Going Medieval" but I am offering two of the best examples of modern architecture in all of Spain-go for it!
