Hello All!

After two years of reading about the Camino, me and my husband are starting our first walk next week from Pamplona. Although we can only do a small portion of it right now (ending in Logrono), I am very excited as this is also my first time to ever travel to Europe. I anticipate we will be planning the next section when we return to California.
I hope we can meet some of you while we walk! This forum is a true blessing and I feel I already know many of you. After my trip, I feel I may be able to contribute to some of the conversations that take place here.

Buen Camino!
Donna

Hi Donna, you will have a great time and you will meet more pelgrims than you sometime want.
Wish you both a wonderful journey and a Buen Camino, Peter.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
What a wise decision, welcome both of you; wishing you lots of fun and a exhilarating experience. Since you lack time, perhaps you want to compensate by walking comfortably, e.g. by spending the nights in casas rurals or the many cosy small hotels on the way.
Buen camino.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Hi Donna!
My husband and I will be starting in Pamplona on the 24th. Maybe we will see you on the way! Buen Camino from a fellow Californian! I know you will have a wonderful experience.

Hi Donna, I will also be starting in Pamplona on the 22nd with a new friend from CA. We are staying overnight in Pension Escaray as we both arrive on the 21st. Do you also arrive on the 21st?

Hope to run into you. I have a Camino forum patch on my blue back pack.

Buen Camino!

I start on Sept 23 either from Pamplona or Roncesvalles (still deliberating a tad); maybe we will meet! Buen Camino!

I've been away most of the summer and am now just catching up.
What a wonderful way to reenter the Forum. Donna brings her soon to begin Camino to the Forum and Poof offers to contact along the Way and well wishes abound.
Gosh, it's great when a plan comes together...naturally.
Buen Camino,

Arn

Hi Jodean!
We are flying out tonight to Bilbao and will arrive in Pamplona by the 20th. We wanted a couple of days to explore and decompress from the long flight and will be staying at the Europa. I will have the wooden pendant with the Camino de Santiago cross emblem attached to my green backpack
I will look for you!

Buen Camino!

By the Way, Arn...
A warm welcome back! I hope your summer was wonderful. And isn't it a joy to be seeing the Sept crowd off?
[Me too, just back this week...and yes, Ladakh was very special--hence the new profile pic (a little giddy from lack of oxygen, I suspect--the pic was taken at a high pass.)]

Donna, I'm excited for you...Pamplona to Logrono is a wonderful part of the Camino. Do check out Eunate--it's a detour but not so far, very much worth teh extra steps.
Wishing you both a wonderful and rich journey. Buen Camino!
