I'll be completing the Camino Portugues at the end of September this year and would appreciate any recommendations where to enjoy good tapas in Santiago de Compostella. My wife and I walked from SJDP in 2015 but only stayed for one night in an albergue and did our cooking there. This time I have a couple of days to spend there so I would like to try some local tapas bars. Looking forward to any recommendations.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

€46,-
Santiago is a tourist hot spot, not the land of tapas. There are a number of main drag tapas joints, but in Santiago, I would opt for meat rather than tapas. Look options on Ivar's recommendations app. I enjoyed the basement place with hair still on meats.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I agree on A Taberna do Bispo! Just went there for my birthday. Nice and accessible since you can see everything in the glass case and point to it without having to know what it's all called. If you're not allergic to nuts or dairy, try the skewer of Brie and toasted almonds, with a drizzle of blueberry jam on top. SO GOOD. The one thing about A Taberna is that it can get very crowded during peak hours, so try to go when it's quieter (say, around 12 noon or early evening).

Other good places are Antollos on Rua das Orfas https://www.facebook.com/Antollos/ and if you're looking for heartier plates try Cervecería Rua Bella on Rua Nova, 17. They have "raciones" - bigger plates to share between a couple of people.

Enjoy all the planning and Buen Camino,
Faith

Nothing like one or two or even three for elevenses with a milky coffee - their were a few that I wasn't keen on but try them all
