Walking after hip surgery

It has been 8 months since, 8 months of recovery. I'm doing fine, better every day as time goes by. My big question is can I walk the Camino Frances again in August, 11 months after full hip replacement? Pls advise

Since my original post I have been walking intermittently, short 2-4 miles per outing, maybe twice a week. This was somewhat painful (6-7) and I felt I needed a day of rest between walks. Well good news now, I just walked on my 2015 Camino Frances training trail yesterday. We slowly became reacquainted after a 3 year separation. Gradually and respectfully we became better friends again. All went well and looking forward to proper training for Camino Portuguese in about four weeks.

Took a hiatus from living large due to hip but, yea baby, I got my mojo back.
