Does any one have suggestions on where I could buy plus size clothing in Santiago? I know there’s a shopping mall but specific stores would be helpful!

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

C & A has casual clothes and some fitness style clothes up to a 6x (men's). I believe they also have women's plus sizes. There's a location in the As Cancelas mall.

El Corte Ingles also carries plus size women's clothes in their larger stores (like in Santiago).

If you make it up to A Coruna at all, there's a nice shop called October where I often stop to buy something (my luggage has been lost TWICE over the past couple of years flying into A Coruna, hence the need to shop there!).

When I was in Santiago this spring, I went shopping up above the Old Town section of Santiago. I saw at least two stores that dealt in Plus sizes. So you might try a walk up over the wall to the east.I'm sorry, I don't know what you call that section but it is OUT of Old Town

Interesting - I was just thinking that it would be useful to have something about favourite Santiago clothes shops in the "resources" section of the forum. Many of us want to buy new clothes or shoes in Santiago, either to take home as special souvenirs - especially stuff made in Spain. A bonus for me is that Europe's new fashion is 6 months ahead of us because of the seasonal difference. Other reasons for buying are because we are going on somewhere else and want clothes other than hiking stuff, or because we are simply sick of everything after a month or so of wearing the same things!

As Cancelas seems to be mostly the chain stores, with stuff I can buy anywhere. Not very exciting.

Last time in Santiago I gifted myself from small boutique shops in the old town with new colourful patterned jeans, a simply lovely new top, and new shoes. All within the space of a few hours, and all made in Spain! Currently in constant use at home.
