@seanmcauley Sean I carry on all my Camino an entry level professional Nikon. It is a D80 and i use one fairly standard but good quality zoom lens. At times it is a bit of a pain because it weighs 1.3 kilo which I have at all times times strapped to my body using a special harness. It allows me to catch reasonably decent images.

@nalod - I am laughing as I type this response to you. When we have a great meal do we tell the chef that he must have a wonderful and special stove? Of course not.

I enjoy looking at your photos. Most of them have the three most important elements to a good photo. Light, composition and the moment. You have a good eye. Please keep them coming.
