Anyone familiar with this albergue? It’s about 9km past Negreira.

I sent an email reservation request and here’s the response I received:
Si desea reservar, necesitamos que nos proporcione como garantía su número de tarjeta de crédito y fecha de caducidad. En caso de presentarse no se le hará ningún cargo, pagará usted a su llegada.

I emailed back saying I wasn’t comfortable with sending my cc via email and I got this back:
Podemos proporcionarle un número de cuenta para la realización del ingreso bancario si así lo desea.

I don’t really want to make a bank deposit into an account either.
Maybe I’m being too skeptical. Perhaps it’s no different than Booking.com.

1) Has anyone had a similar exchange?
2) Please share your experience about this albergue?

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Hi!
I stayed there last year, a fabulous rural place, a century old granite house in the middle of the countryside, opposite the church and near a bar with nice food, I love this type of remote places!
The owner is a very nice fellow, always looking forward to having a good chat and showing you his horses. I do find it odd to see him requesting so many things before staying there, I am not sure I even booked ahead when I stayed there. Maybe a phone call would be helpful?

As such, it is a place I can recommend, definitely!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

We stayed there last August. It was a lovely, clean place. About 100m to the restaurant where we had a communal meal in the evening. There was a flock of chickens in the field, which were absolutely stunning, really well cared for. We booked through booking.com. I know that they (Booking.com) do take a commission, but sometimes that is preferable to having to give all your details via an email.

hi, looking for some extra info on the bus from Finisterre to Santiago from anyone taken the bus recently (like in 2024, maybe in May particularly). Is there a schedule online? can I buy tickets...
A short video about the continuing problem of pilgrims leaving clothing and other items near the lighthouse in Fisterra. A "tradition" which local people would like to see stopped...
