I am trying to book a room in gîte BEILARI St-Jean-Pied-de-Port albergue, which I saw some good reviews about. I don’t speak Spanish. What is the easiest way to book a room there as it spears their website is just in Spanish?
Thx!
Bob

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Learn a few Spanish phrases. Believe me, they will know you are not a fluent speaker.

Try: ¿Tienes una habitación para mañana por la noche?
English: do you have a room for tomorrow night?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Strange
They do pop up (as gite Beilari)...but then try as I may I have yet to be able to see a "booking" available for any randomly selected dates

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Hi, I booked there recently on my android phone. It translated straight to English. There is a reservation request form to be completed. No money was requested upfront. I got a confirmation email around 24hrs later.

Joseph speaks perfect English. Send him an email and/or request a reservation from their website form. Otherwise, since SJPDP is in France, a little French in town goes a long way.

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles

The owners name is Joseph and he speaks English. He’s always very prompt when answering email questions or reservation requests. You may already know this, but it’s across from the pilgrims office making it easy to find. You’ll be certain to receive a warm welcome and a great dinner. It’s a beautiful place to stay and a wonderful way to begin your camino. Good luck and buen camino.

You can use Google translate, and then you can send an email once translated. Hope this helps.
