Highly recommended .

Have seen this. It's worth watching as he has a real affinity for Spain as well as speaking Spanish. He also has a place near Seville and spends a lot of time there when not filming other travel programmes.

Thank you for posting. Michael’s name pretty much guarantees a high quality output! Different subject but his railway journeys programme ls are great too!

I was impressed by his railway programme so if t his of the same quality, it should be excellent. He was wasted as Secretary of State for Defence when he could have been out making documentaries on Spain.

I should have been clearer on the intent of my jape-- it was to compliment his creative work, and only note in passing to any public office. His personal trajectory as the son of a noted Spanish Loyalist official is also worthy of consideration and this was a significant element in his Spanish train documentary.

Mr Portillo also walked the Camino in 1999 I think, not sure if he made a documentary of it as it was at a difficult point in his life.
