Time of past OR future Camino
Start in St Jean- 9/11
End- 9/30 ?
Hello! I am starting the Camino this Sunday, September 10, and will be coming from a short stint in Paris. I am hoping to ship my “city clothes” to my final destination in Barcelona, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on the best company or post carrier to use to do this on the cheap? (It won’t be heavy but will be the size of a smaller backpack)
Thank you!

Shipping from Paris to Barcelona could be a problem. It would be easier to ship from your first Spanish stop via the Spanish postal service Correos. Read the Paq Peregrino info in their English hot link and ask them any questions. They will respond quickly.
Happy planning and Buen camino.

If you can go to a La Poste in Paris, you can send a box to anywhere in the European Union using Collissimo or Chronopost. Here is the link and an extract from their website. You will be able to track the parcel. We've used this service plenty of times.

The issue to consider is where you are sending to in Barcelona (a hotel?) and their agreement to keep the package until you arrive.

La Poste carriers, Colissimo and Chronopost both offer special postage for the European Union.

• With Colissimo, the delivery time of your shipments is guaranteed for the 27 EU countries;
• With Chronopost, benefit from express transport in 2 to 4 days * depending on the location!

Finally, be aware that the price of sending a parcel to France, Europe or internationally always depends on its weight, its size, the classic or express delivery time and the options that you decide to add. , such as delivery against signature with Colissimo or more substantial compensation in the event of loss or breakage.

All the best.

I used this service to ship some things from France to Spain and it was great!

Emmaec - they have pre-priced boxes you to put your things into - you can see the sizes/prices here: https://www.laposte.fr/boutique/c/emballages-colissimo

Thanks everyone this is very helpful! I do know the people I am sending my things to so it won’t be an issue for it to be there a while. I will try La Poste!
