I have heard wonderful things about the Wisely app. It is not available in the Apple App Store in the US. (the only wisely apps appear to be weather). Is it something I can only download once in Europe? I’ll be starting in Porto.

I think that you are looking for the Wise Pilgrim app (I think that it may have been called Wisely at one time).

I think there was aWisely app years ago. It was at a time when you paid for the Wise Pilgrim app. (That was a great investment getting the bundle of all the apps). I think the Wisely was free but had less information. I may very well be wrong and I am sure Wise Pilgrim will correct me if I am.
 
...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
