I don't know were to post this question. Sorry.

I have a question about the distance certificate that you can get in Santiago.

I do my camino in three stages and started in 2021 in Irun on the camino norte. This year i did stage two. It was wonderful by the way.

I switch in Villavisiosa to the primitivo and walk the first stages. Over two year i will walk the last part to Santiago.
Unfortinatly i did develop shin splint and had to take the bus to Oviedo.

I would like to get the distance certificate from Irun. Minus the bus kilometers of course. Is this possible?

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

You have to document that you walked the last 100km for the Compostela, both the regular and the distance Compostela. If you do that and turn in the rest of whatever you walked, I'm pretty sure the volunteer will add together all the distances you did walk. But step one is to make sure you've walked the last 100km.

Provided that you can present duly stamped Credencial recording your segmented Camino the PO will issue you a Certificate of Distance. https://oficinadelperegrino.com/en/pilgrimage/certificate-of-distance/ They use standardised distance tables so if you explain that you walked from Irun to Villaviciosa and then Oviedo to Santiago they can calculate the distance walked.

As @Charlie Davenport has commented above the qualifying distance for a Compostella is only 100km. If you want one of those as well as your Certificate of Distance be sure to get two stamps per day on that final 100km into Santiago
