I received a message from the owner of Albergue el Pajar in Ages today. He is retiring and looking to sell his place. As a result, he will not be open. If the albergue does open, it will be with new owners. It is a shame - I liked that place.
 
The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
It's quite a nice property, especially since the 2020 remodel. I'm hoping someone snaps it up soon and reopens. There is good information on the albergue and the potential for purchase here.

Sorry to hear that news.... I recall it as a lovely welcoming resting place on my novice year as a pilgrim....so I checked my Pilgrim Passport.. I was there on 17th April 2008.....that was 16 years ago..when I was a callow youth of 62......I hope it reopens....

yes, I stayed there last May, wanted to stay there this year also.
 
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
