If it were 9-10kg, the price to send it to Spain is 55.80 Euros. See the price list here: https://www.ctt.pt/application/themes/pdfs/tarifario-completo-2024 - v3.pdf?language_id=1555597541833. The international parcel tariffs start around page 22.Anyone know the cost with CTT to post a 10kg suitcase to Santiago - I'm also considering Tuitrans - does anyone have experience of this service and the cost
Thanks
Indeed. I posted a parcel from Lisbon when I started the CP in 2023, and while I didn't time the process, it was incredibly time consuming. It seemed that I was in the post office for over an hour, although some of that was waiting for my turn to be served. Last year, I posted a book back to Australia, and was prepared for it to be time consuming, and wasn't disappointed. On both occasions, the staff were being quite careful to ensure that everything was done correctly, indicating that perhaps this wasn't something they were doing regularly enough to be completely familiar with.Customs procedures in Portugal can be quite daunting.
You would have to ask the postal staff that, and whether their processes were all customs related. But do you need to do all the customs procedures to send something to Spain?
I would defer to his experience, although when I used CTT, or had items delivered by CTT, the items arrived at Ivar's store without any issues.Ivar says that private shipping firms are a safer bet than post office services when shipping from Portugal to Spain.

Do you have a link to that video pleaseIndeed, but it needs to be posted/shipped from somewhere else to get to Casa Ivar!
My apologies. I have just seen Ivar's latest video where he talks about collecting from various places. I don't have the details, but that sounds like it would be a good solution if you can arrange that.
On a PC, click on the shell in the header bar, scroll down and you will find a link to Ivar's videos. At the moment, it is also appearing on the bottom of the page.Do you have a link to that video please
