Me and my wife just twelve days back from camino and are still walking twenty km, still needing to graze in any bar we pass most days and getting headaches from what we think must be cafine withdrawal symptoms. This my wife says can't go on, although i say we haven't put on any weight !
This never happened last time to us,does any one know what on earth is going on ?

There are plenty of beds on the Ingles my friend in fact sometimes you could even have three each, as for the mountain gods naa they wouldn't be interested in punishing me would they;)

Hi pilgrim b and peregrina b!
I hope that your Camino was everything that you both hoped and wished for - great to hear that you're both back safe and well.
My prescription for easing yourselves back into your Yorkshire lives ...
2 doses fish, chips and mushy peas
2 doses Yorkshire flapjacks
4 doses G&T ( the second lot in case the first lot don't work!)
And finally, one bottle of a cheeky Rioja to give you both sweet Camino dreams!
Cheers!

Oh there 's another thing 'Vino Tinto' we have given the Gin a miss at the moment for a couple of glasses of the grape. Yes we had a wonderful time and I picked flowers for peregrina b on our wedding anniversary as we walked that day into Santiago, hope you can see the pic
How did your visit to Spain work out I know you would enjoy it, send me a PM if you want .

After walking in rainy and chilly Galicia for about a week I ended up in a warm hotel room, feverish and with a cold. And I asked myself: why am I doing this? It felt like truancy, but I decided...

We are leaving Sahagún and can’t find any coffee for breakfast. Any advice or has someone seen any on the way. Saludos Nando
I am an American peregrino interested in volunteering for 2 weeks at the Pilgrim Office in Santiago de Compostela during 2025. I have completed the Camino Frances (2019), Camino Finisterre (2023)...
I finally got around to having my Compostela and certificates framed. Doing so was more time consuming, irritating and painful than walking. The first attempt by the framers had everything at odd...
I will be volunteering for 15 days at the Pilgrim’s Office in Santiago in late October . I understand that volunteers no longer fill out Compostela’s because a computer prints the names and...
