Great, I look forward to seeing you that first day. My plan is to stop at Orisson the first day, maybe we'll meet up there.

Good luck and buen Camino to all of you!

I am starting from SJPdP on May 29th and will probably take the shuttle up the first part of the mountain and start walking from there. I am a very slow walker so you all will probably catch ut to me. Looking forward to meeting you all on the road.

Buen Camino

My first walking day will be the 1st, a short one to Orisson, so I'm guessing you'll catch me up on the 2nd - we'll both be in Roncesvalles that night. See my posting in the calendar. If it's raining you'll easily recognise me - I'll be in Lycra!!!

You'll be surprised how many people you will pass, some of them several times. And they in turn will, of course, be passing you

I will be flying in to Bilbao on June 9th. I hope to spend the day there and later find my way to SJPDP. It is also my first camino but due to time restraint I will be cycling it. Maybe I will catch up to you guys and see you there.

Hi, me too I will start my camino on 11 June in Roncesvalles with my daughter Lara (17 years old). It will be our 3rd Camino togheter

I'm leaving home June 2nd, and will begin walking fomr SJPDP on the 4th. I'm doing short days (I'm hoping to average 15 km/day, and will be taking ~60 days to walk the whole thing), and am going the ValCarlos route. If you see me, say hi.

Starting at St Jean PDP on 2nd June
Arriving from Paris by train at around 1915hrs on 1st June.
Was wondering if I should book accommodation in advance as it may be too late for the albergues/ pensions etc.
Any tips are appreciated.

Sounds like you I have the same type of Camino planned. I've set aside 56 days doing 15-20 km per day. Look forward to meeting up at point.
