August 2016
We begin our first Camino august 14, very excited and anxious at the same time, packing our bag, level of fitness, weather, etc etc. Any advice very gratefully accepted. Pack is about 10percent of my body weight. Sleeping bag liner only. Our group 2 middle aged couples and our 26yr old son. Cant wait!!

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
I hope the Camino is everything you guys need. I wish you all the best.

Buen Camino!

Hi, Doddy! I'm wishing you and your fellow pilgrims the best! I walked my first camino two years ago (with lots of encouragement from the forum) and will begin walking the Primitivo just after the 14th. My preparations are underway, too. I will be walking with a friend I met on my first day walking the Frances route out of SJPP. I hope you have an amazing adventure.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Hi Doddy, hope the Camino brings to you what you expect from it.
Wish you all a wonderful journey and a Buen Camino, Peter.

Hi Doddy,
I too am starting on the 14-Aug-2016!
I'll be leaving from St. Jean, what about ye? Hope you enjoy it if I don't run into you.
My first time also so not 100% sure on what to expect. I find this site and the people on it is a big help
Buen Camino!
