Travel from Leon

Time of past OR future Camino

I will be traveling by bike with a party of 5 from St. Jean to Santiago. One of our group must leave early and I saw that Leon has an airport and it is about half way. When I search for flights from this airport I get no results. Does anyone have any information about flights from Leon OR have suggestions as to how to get to a major airport from Leon (or somewhere near there) as simply as possible. Thank you.

The only problem will be if your fellow pilgrim will be travelling with their bike. You cannot take a bike on AVE (super fast) trains; most other trains will require the bike to be in a box. Recommend checking on which trains you can take the bike. ALSA buses also take bikes - but usually limit it to one bike per bus, oh and you must buy a "bike ticket". Cheers
