Hi, through this group may I appeal to any member who has walked the St. Columbia’s Way (Iona to St. Andrews) in Scotland to please P.M. me. I have a strong desire to walk this route next year but have a couple of route specific questions.
Hoping someone can help.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

I have not walked this one, but will be a Pilgrimage I hope to walk at some point. This is the link for the Way of St Andrew's web site that covers the St Columba's Way.
Buen Camino

Thanks for reply. I contacted the Way of St. Andrews way folk. Their reply to my specific queries was that I should consider another route or "hire someone to walk with me".

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

Maybe they reckon, it's quite a difficult route. My own favourite is the Whithorn Way. http://www.whithornway.org/

This is a 149 mile Pilgrimage route with fascinating history. St Ninian was in Whithorn 397AD, which was about 150 years before St Columba. This route is walkable although under construction. There is a guide book by Julia Muir Watt of the Whithorn Trust, https://www.whithorn.com/
which would help in walking this route.

The walking App should be ready for next year, listing accommodation and relevant information.
There is also a Facebook page for the Whithorn Way and a page for the Whithorn Way Buddies.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.

Does anyone know if there’s a direct bus from Lucca to San Miniato? Or is the best option to take the train from Lucca to San Miniato Basso-Fucecchio via Pisa and then bus to San Miniato Alto? Thanks!
