Watch Stage 9 of the Tour de France this Sunday if you’d like to see where you would walk just before crossing into Spain at the Somport pass (the start of the Camino Aragones!)

Stage 9 travels from Pau to Marie St. Oloron and then up a valley ADJACENT to the one you walk through the day before reaching the official start of the Aragones. The last half travels across the pilgrim route and then into a third valley.

Trust me, only watch if you want to add yet another route to your bucket list!!!! Pure bliss and astonishing beauty out there.DC15B575-3D7B-45DF-8991-1E7E4430BACC.jpegDC15B575-3D7B-45DF-8991-1E7E4430BACC.jpeg21AB73CD-4BAE-4E3E-A71B-55642E17615D.jpeg572E2A4B-BB9D-47A6-8929-952B5ED236B7.jpegDC15B575-3D7B-45DF-8991-1E7E4430BACC.jpeg21AB73CD-4BAE-4E3E-A71B-55642E17615D.jpeg572E2A4B-BB9D-47A6-8929-952B5ED236B7.jpeg

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Going by your photos Joe, it looks absolutely ...... beautiful. Thanks for the tip, will watch Sunday's race for sure.

Well, our secret remains safe! It was so cloudy and rainy in the Pyrenees that the tv coverage didn’t capture the soaring mountain ranges in all of their spectacular glory. I guess folks will have to go walk it if they want to know what all the excitement is about... 😎

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
