I had no difficulties with it.

I walked it in late September 2023 and found it quite difficult. I had poles, but at one point I sat down and scooched on my bum. I was surprised it was still considered a passable trail.
Just an update that I’m in Pamplona at Jesús y María (main albergue here In the central historic district; no reservations accepted; there are 112 beds) and it’s just after 6 PM and the albergue is probably a little over half full.
