kdespot replied to the thread La Tuna in Santiago.I was studying at la Universidad de Valencia in 1981 and the tunas serenaded us under our second (first) story window. It was magical. We ended up bar hopping with them. Thank goodness I don't remember details except that it was LOTS of fun! -

Can someone tell me what Spanish word is used in Spain to refer to hiking poles? Bastones? Palos? Also, as women in tv and movies generally are now referred to as "actores" rather than "actrices", would I refer to Penelope Cruz as "una actor"...
