    A few years ago in 2018 we got the Shuttle Bus just ourside from Montparnasse to CDG 40 Euro from memory.

    Bus stop right outside the train station which take you straight outside Madrid Atocha airport.

    There is a new bus station/train station in SdeC and there's an albergue less than 5 mins away. Albergue Estacione. Hope this helps

    Staying in Padron

    Padron is a lovely little place to stay and lots to see the Iglesia de Santiago , Casa Museo de Rosalia and many others and chill like a local. then an easy walk the next morning early to arrive in Santiago well before lunch. Albergue Corredoiras.es is right on the Camino highly recommend it...

    I also have carried a Swiss knife in my backpack on train from Madrid to Santiago and also one from madrid to Pamplona. .

    Thank you all . Will check on Gronze those places mentioned I have done the CF X 2 and Portuguese Coastal from Lisbon I have allowed extra time. So pondering what I really want or what is important for me I arrive in Madrid 1 May then train to North Spain
