I had PF for years. The only thing that helped me was Oofos flip flops. I wear them at home all the time now and have brought a pair on the Camino in case my PF flares up again. Perhaps worth a try?

I agree. There is scientific evidence that trusting people as a guiding principle enhances happiness. And vice versa: constant mistrust reduces happiness.
