Simple suggestion: while resting at the albergue check where the first arrow of the next day is and in the morning you will not get lost.,

Albergues CLOSED - VIA DE LA PLATA

I was in Fuente de Cantos- Alba Plata Albergue, according to my experience on the VdP iI can confirm that is one of the best I get. Very clean 4 people per room with private bathroom.

Sellos on the VDP

Hello everybody, on the Camino Frances you can get "sellos" in many sites (albergues, churces etc), I would say this is not an issue at all. What about the VDP?. Looking at some blog I found unclear info's, can somebody transfer some tips about? Thanks Peregrino46

I have been told from one guy that is spending 2 weeks per year in a albergue that a good prevention method to keep the bedbugs away is to put some drop of "Tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) on the mattress before sleeping. Do somebody have same or additonal informations about? Thanks...

Hi Gitti, I will try to do my best in order to submit some feedback, looks that you canno't have internet in some small villages; of course the long stretches without accomodation are not the best, personally I am worried about the fact that beeing the Holy Year there should be more pilgrims on...

I have already walked the Camino Frances (SJPDP-Santiago) in 2008, I am now ready to start again. My plan is to walk the VDP from Sevilla to Fisterra, I am going to leave from Sevilla on May 24.
