I have found that compression stockings are great for compressing clothes. Roll up the clothes & pull the stocking over them. Not waterproof, but light & breathable, & a bit see-through.

I am familiar with the area bc my partner’s family is from there. I don’t think you’ll need shorts, maybe capris if you easily get hot. You walk next to the ocean so it’s a bit more windy. Good luck. I’ll be there end of month….buen camino.

For sure it is way warmer than it should be atm. However, this weekend NW Spain will have snow down to 900mtrs and 130kmph winds in places. Perhaps not so bad further down on the CP, but evidence no less of the unpredictability atm. You are best...
