SSuffolksteve replied to the thread Type of bike for Camino Francés.Hi I've just finished cycling from Suffolk to Santiago a six week trip. I used a cube touring bike. Stuck to the roads most of the time and carried all my kit in two saddle panniers. I'm 65 and managed it OK. Good luck
