I have to say that I do carry a high vis jacket. It's made of pertex, very very light, yellow in colour and is fairly wind proof. I can assure you ,very handy when crossing the Pyrenees. Jolly handy piece of kit.

On my camino trips from Gatwick I use a couple of rain covers, one for the back and the other for the front. It hides all those tentacles and to hold the the luggage info a lightweight strap around the middle. It has worked for me on several trips.
I agree stop issuing certificates. If you are a pilgrim and you're doing the journey for a certificate then I think you're doing the pilgrimage for the wrong reason.
Just my thoughts, pease don't hang me out to dry, or worse still have me cancelled.

Reviews of albergues are just peoples opinions, we must remember the majority of the people who give these bad reviews are holiday makers not pilgrims, unfortunately they don't know the difference between the two.

I have been T2 for over 10 years and have never experienced any problems with my feet. On my first camino I got one small blister on my little toe, this was due to the wrong size shoes. I regularly walk 12/15 miles to stretch the legs and find with the right shoes and socks you'll be fine.

I'm not really counting because my start date is the middle of September, but flight is booked, Albergue reservations up to and including Zubiri booked and training started 3 weeks ago. This will be my third camino and I'm as excited as I was on my first.
