Buen camino pilsgrims,

Has someone recently have flown with Qatar from Australia to Madrid with an osprey 36l ? Qatar has. Limit of 50 cm and the osprey is 60 because of the frame. I want it to know if you have had any issues taking in as carry on instead of checking in?
Regards
Fernando

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
As a retired airline employee and a current pilgrim, my experience is sometimes you can get away with it and sometimes you can't regardless of airline. You're over the official limit so expect it to be checked. If the agent is not looking too closely, you may get it on board at your origin. But you may have to check it in Doha due to a connecting agent's vigilance. Exceptions to stated rules are generally not corporate policy
