Hi Suresh
My husband and I are returning to complete our Camino in April.
We will pick up the Way in Leon on 15th April so may meet up with you at some point.
Last year Walking from Pamplona I found the mornings very cold, even on sunny days it took until midday for the heat of the sun to have...
Very happy today we have booked flight to return to Leon and complete our Camino, starting on April 15th. Great bonus to be arriving in Santiago for Ascension Thursday
Attend Mass in Carrion if you can. The welcome from the nuns and the individual blessing on each pilgrim from the priest at the end of mass was very special
We stayed there two weeks ago. No complaints staff efficient and helpful, went for evening prayers with the nuns who were warm and friendly.
As in any city extra care of procession is necessary
This is a beautiful and interesting walk that we done a couple of years ago.
Paths and markings are good and plenty of accommodation along the way.
Another enjoyable walk in this area is St Cuthberts Way. It goes from Melrose in the Scottish Borders to Holy Island Northumberland
Hi I hope you enjoyed walking Hadrians wall, it's in my back yard and it was when we walked it 4 years ago we received the call to walk our Camino.
In comparison the terrain is similar but the paths on the Camino are must better defined and easier to walk, also there is much more opportunity to...
"You are standing at the crossroads. So consider your path.
Ask where the old reliable paths are. Ask where the path is that leads to blessings and follow it. If you do you will find rest for your soul" Jer 6:16
I love it☺️
We are returning for our third time, starting at Pamplona and seeing how far we can cover in two weeks, this time there will be no pre booking or luggage transfer. Training underway with pack packs
Hi have you considered flying to Barcelona then bus or train to Pamplona, the service is supposed to be very frequent and you travel through some wonderful countryside
We are returning for the third time, but this time to to walk a bit longer and stay in the albergues to increase the camino experience.
What is the best way to get from Biarritz to Pamplona please and how long will it take. Thank you for all your past help.
You have heard the call to walk the "camino", they have not. The call will keep coming to you until you answer it. I did and went on my pilgrimage, my husband came along for the nice walk but he at one point became a pilgrim to on the
camino.
