    Just finished the Francigene from Aosta, never had a problem getting a stamp. All accomodation have a stamp, tourist offices like wise, most businesses will give you their business stamp if you ask politely and show them your credential. 🙏

    Hi I walked this route in 2018, easy to follow, lots of sign posts. You will have a small amount of road walking. Otherwise the route is pretty, be prepared for a very steep climb at the end just prior to the slow easy descent into Roncesvailles. Buen Camino

    Jet Lag After Flying Direct from Australia to Paris for Camino Starting in St Jean

    I was looking to start at the pass in Switzerland and hike down through Aosta. Investigating the historic weather patterns mid to late May stands a better chance for the pass. I think if you start from Aosta you should be ok at that time of the year, but one can never tell. Buen Camino

    I walked the VDLP this year in Spring , great option, you can break the distances. I had one day over 30kms and no real trouble with finding a bed. Highly recommend

    Yep, I always remain flexible, l will use the bus to get to the pass, to walk down into Italy 🇮🇹 I do have flexibility to book my flight to Rome. If it’s meant to be it will be. 🙏
