Thank you :)
I don't think I phrased my first question correctly.
Regarding booking accommodations ahead:
Is there a list or guideline of which accommodations WILL NOT accept a transported bag from a transport company?
I fly in 10 days!.Because of an achilles tear, I have to be prepared to transport part of my bag nightly
I am trying to retain some flexibility, as I am not sure how far I can walk each day.
Questions:
To know which accommodations will take a 20 L bag ahead -Do I just call each...
Thank you @trecile , I got the osprey 20 L :)
Peregrinos, I have more questions about how this works
Now that I have to send a bag ahead, I have to call the Albergues individually to see if they will will take it, correct? And I municipal albergues will not, correct?
And is one day ahead...
2 weeks to go!
I have a foot injury I'm recovering from, and may need to transport my bag nightly. My pack will serve well as a day pack.
I'm looking for recommendations for something I can stow and use for a transport bag with a service if needed.
Thx in advance
I leave Madrid around 1 pm, arrive sarria 5:45ish. If there is no better option, I may have to stay the night and taxi to Tricastela in the morning. I will post if I find another option.
Buen Camino!
Hola Peregrinos
I have already purchased my Rail Europe ticket from Madrid to Sarria. But I have decided to start in Tricastela.
Does anyone know if the trains commonly stop along the way?
I am hoping to get off at this earlier stop (if there is one).
oh my gosh...I just booked my tickets!!!I am soooo excited! Thank you everyone for all of your help and suggestions. You are my first beautiful Camino family.
Now to figure out where to start walking...
Do you have any experience with taking your pack in the overhead on TAP.?
I think I can pack light enough, but it sounds like their restrictions on size may make a 25 -40 L pack too big. Are they really strict about it?
Thank you! Your suggestions are so helpful.
It's great to hear first hand experience. TAP seems like the way to go.
I have a few questions, if you don't mind.
What did you do regarding luggage, seats etc.? I'm not sure which fare to choose.
I originally thought I could do a carry on, but...
