    Packing List: Welcome All Comments!

Hi, Thank you for sharing, quite an impressive low weight I am preparing for my second Camino, and I really struggled with the backpack weight in my first Camino (not help having two bad knees), so I intend to reduce it as much as possible. Your 4,49 kg sound impressive. A quick amazon search...

Revised Spring gear packing list (after VdlP)

I'm impressed ! I really need to drop my backpack weight, so maybe some advice (I am planning the Portuguese Litoral in mid September) In terms of clothes, how do you manage with just one t-shirt? and is a head light not necessary? thanks

What do you wash your clothes with

I guess it depends on your hair and skin type. But I would suggest testing at home before the Camino, to know what works best for you. For me, the hair is the sensitive spot so I tried several solid shampoos until I got one that worked. The same shampoo worked well enough for the body For the...

Great tip, but be careful that it will also translate the name of the albergues and the streets, which is not good ;)

Primitivo - May - reducing backpack weight

Thank you @Suzanne S. , very helpful indeed. One rookie mistake I was doing was not to separate the things that I would be wearing from those I was carrying. But the biggest difference is in the backpack itself and the sleeping bag. My backpack is 2kg + sleeping bag 1kg and I see yours are...

As I am doing the Camino Primitivo I am not so sure to find supermarkets in every village, and prefer something more "home made"

Thank you, it is very generous of you, it looks great, I will absolutely give it a try. I'll practice at home and select the one I am able to do

    Cookwear lunchkit necessity?

As I am feeling now, I would also prefer to avoid restaurants and bars and cook my own meals, but I am a terrible cook. So would really appreciate suggestions of meals easy to make to go (to eat on the Camino) or to prepare in the albergue.
