When I arrive in Santiago, the next day, I always leave for Fisterra and end up in Muxia and there if I have some days left I spend them relaxing in the calm of the village ready to return to Santiago for my flight, with a light heart at the thought of having accomplished my pilgrimage. :)
If I am still alive and if we are vaccinated, it will be by April 2022 or else April 2023.
Start my walk John O Groat's to Rome via Canterbury Via Francigena should be around 3000+Kilometer.
I had to cancel it in April 2020 when it was all paid for.:(
Ultrea:)
Felice,
I wouldn't worry that much, because when the Camino reopens, there will be no longer the fear of today because God willing we will all ( or almost all ) be vaccinated.
Ultreia:)
Hi oursonpolaire,
To be clear, this is some of my stamps from my Camino, Proceno, Santiago, Fisterra, Muxia.
Sorry I couldn't put them all in - it would have been too much to post.
Ultreia:)
This frame is the one I treasure the most, it is my longest camino, started from Proceno over 100 Km north of Rome, so that allowed me to get the Testimonium in Rome, then up Italy, into France via Montginevro down to Samport into Spain to SDC then Fisterra, Muxia, a journey of 3300 Km and to...
This is what I have done with my first 3 years but unfortunately after my 5th year I've now got 15 Compostela and 5 credentials.
If I go through with what I've planed for next year, which will be Rome - Santiago - Finiste.. - Muxia. In the end I will have 18 Compostela and 6 credentials of which...

God and the Vergin Mary have nothing to do with it, God is everywhere, The St.Apostle Santiago (one of the twelve of which we have two in EU, one is in Rome St.Peter the other is in Santiago the Compostela, at which I promised every year that I would bring to HIM Peters regard, which I did in...
Hi AshleyF, you are quite right to be deeply disappointed. For those people that walk the pilgrimage only to pay they respect to the Apostle James and not to be able to do so at the end of they journey and not to be able to go near the shrine is like a punch in the stomach. After all the things...
For me all my pilgrimages are dedicate solely to James, the longest , the hardest with lots of pain are the best presented to James and they will make HIM ever so happy, the rest don't matters as long I have been able to rich Santiago and pay HIM my respect.
Ultreia.
Ernesto
