I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, as they are written in a language I find much more suitable to the spirit of the Camino

As far as your memories go, I do remember seeing something on one of the health advice posters...
I saw a couple last summer on the Camino Primativo on the part you would have hoped was the least likely to see them - on the wonderful isolated part from Borres to Berducedo that passes via los Hospitales. There were two of them and of course, the sound they made was so out of place in the...
Just a thought
You may find you are outside mobile coverage when you want to text. It could be your wife will then worry unnecessarily. It may be an idea not to be too "rigid" in your arrangement to text every evening. I believe on this camino, in one place, there is no water fountain or...

This link will take you directly to the part on the pilgrimage, rather than having to listen to the trials and tribulations of a certain Silvio Berlusconi first, however entertaining for non-Italians that may be!

And to me too.
Was in Cologne last weekend, and I came across this whilst wandering along the Rhine
During the Middle Ages, along with Jerusalem, Rome, Santiago and St-Gilles-du-Gard, Cologne and Aachen were major pilgrim destinations. Cologne houses the relics of the Three Kings (Magi)...
Hi Javier
If your French is better than your Spanish (not you Javier !!), you may prefer the French version called "Saint Jacques ... La Mecque". I have it on DVD, but be warned - there are no subtitles, French or English.
It's a film about the trials and tribulations on the Camino, starting...
I tend to walk between 25 & 35km per day - I think you'll find most do around the 25km mark.
But one thing I would watch out for. Try to make your third day a short day, 20ish km, 25km max. I have always found the third day the worst, and speaking to others, they seem to find the same thing...
When Sil first posted this, I looked for a print in the online poster shops, but no luck. Even a wider search on Google came up with nothing.
So in true Blue Peter* style, you could try a DIY poster, not a large one, A4 (approx 210 x 300mm) or even A3 (approx 300 x 420mm).
Right click on the...
I walked from León to Santiago leaving on 20 December and arriving on 30 December. You may find the following helpful.
León - The monastario Sta Clara will be open. If there is a problem go to the Hospedaria one door to the left and they'll re-direct you with map to the municipal albergue...
Couple of things here
Region 0 is "region-free", ie it will work anywhere. (Europe is Region 2)
I don't think the PAL the publishers mention will be a problem either. The UK and many other countries use PAL, the US works on NTSC, and France has gone its own way and uses a third system, SECAM...
As posted elsewhere (http://www.santiago-today.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3078&hilit=), I shall be starting in Léon on 20 December, so it is quite possible I shall be arriving in Santiago on 30 December.
I've looked a bit further into this, and according to Steven Rossi's site...
