    In galicia there is no doors on the showers in the municipal. Not sure why,a couple of hinges and a wood is all it would take in some instances to give pilgrim privacy. But mainly you can get a hook or a shelf at most places.

    If you walk the camino frances, and you see a cat with a white beard, photograph it, or even better get a saliva sample as well.

    Head Torch

    I sat in the albergue at 4am in portomarin, and there were a large number of peeps leaving. The albergues are all full in palas de rai. The one out of town has space. Good idea to have a strong head torch if you want to be in the racing.

    There is no patrtition it is just a square number that goes 20percent of thr way across. The feet can be seen clearly and smelt.

    I am directly opposite. His feet smell and have some blister bandages on the toes. Why cant he sleep the other way with his feet pointing at the wall thus offending no ones alfactory senses. Is it to hard for some people to be well mannered. Good manners do not cost anything.

    For me the camino is about change. Letting something go. The crowds have been challenging. I was spiritually challenged by a woman that pushed in at the coffee line in tradadello and the albergue line in la faba. The older south african lady let her know not to push in. I just got angry...
