suggestion.... take your heart but leave your head at home . when your head is ready, let it catch up with the rest of you that way everybody is happy . your heart goes on wild and dangerous trips to far-away places and your head stays at home opening the mail and vaccuming the rugs in the tv room- +@^^

starting sevilla camino mid-august/september 2011
@ mmm042 thanks for the Sevilla reminder before first light i grandly commenced my camino at the cathedral, and the proceeded to walk in circles for 3 hours before hailing a taxi to take me to Santiponce and youre right - nobody could direct me - only the taxi dude . i didnt realise that "north"...- +@^^

starting sevilla camino mid-august/september 2011
hi Pandas i will have a go at your weather question the vets can have a go at the rest . i walked the vdlp from Sevilla to S'tiago from 14 sept to 28 Oct 2010 temps were just below 40 deg C at start in Sevilla and dropped to about freezing at the highest point near Lubian on 5 Oct heavy rain on...- +@^^

The Journey, or the destination?
i opted for both journey AND destination i planned on 6 weeks to cover 1000kays (thanks to forum vets) i took a few rest days and built in enough time to walk on to Finisterre i catered for stuff going wrong, and was mentally prepared for not actually getting to S'diego . with about 5 days to go...- +@^^

Accommodation and stamping of passport - hostel/hotel??
accommodation ranges from wild camping, to the penthouse in a 5 star hotel with costs ranging from zero to a very lot and God did not create all albergues alike so not all are dorm-like generally you will have options . on the vdlp in Oct 2010 i generally spent my rest days in hostals and mostly...- +@^^
