Its time! No more preparing, checking and double checking things. I leave EARLY tomorrow morning for what I hope will be a 3 hour drive into the city and then a flight to Europe, a day in London and on to Spain and the Camino.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!

The coming year does seem like a good year to consider one of the alternatives to the Camino France especially if you don't like crowds.

Hello
I was a memeber of the Class of 2008 and then thought I would join the Class of 2011 as I had heard that the Camino would be quite crowded in 2010. Now I am thinking that I will do the Camino next year as I owuld like to but by one of the less travelled routes. Not sure which one yet as...
I'm not sure if is actually a plan as it is a coule of years in the future but I'm also looking forward to doing the Camino again in 2011. Not sure which route yet but I have lots of time to figure that out and I do plan to do it in the Fall. I've heard that it will be crowded in 2010 so I think...
I can't speak to the Santander airport from Burgos but I did take the bus from Santander to Burgos and it was a pleasant and attrative ride. I took a taxi in from the Santander airport to the downtown of Santander and I don['t remember it being too far.
i hope that this helps in some way.

Hello
I was thinking of the Camino Norte but ended up doing the Camino France as I was concerned that my lack of Spanish or any second language might be more of a problem on the Camino Norte. If you speak Spanish that might not be an issue. If you don't have much Spanish this could be an issue...
I've been looking forward to thsi for several weeks or more and tomorrow after work I leave from a small town in Western Canada and arriving in Satander late in the afternoon on the 7th. I am excited and nervous and looking forward to getting past the travel and the connections and simply start...
hello
I don't know how available it is outside of Canada but I really enjoyed "All the Good Pilgrims: Tales of the Camino de Santiago" by Robert Ward. I thought it gave an affectionate, respectful and realistic portrayal of the people hemet and of his experiences doing the Camino.
Regards,
John
Hi
well I will walk with, I hope, an open mind and heart as to the experience but also without expectations about becoming anything different that I am. I'm looking forward to the Camino but am of the personal belief that learning and change comes from being open to learning and change wherever...
Hi
an afterthought. I'm thinking that I don't really want to be fast or not so fast that I don't have time and opportunity to see and think. I'm not a religious person and I am walking not for the destination but for the journey.

Hi
I'm 56 and will probably be slow and am very much looking forward to starting in early September. I'm walking regularily and making sure my clothes, pack and especially my boots are comfortable and I'm very much looking forward to flying to Britian and then to Santander where I plan to start...
Hi
I'm making plans and looking forward to doing a portion of the Camino Del Norte this Fall. I live in the Canadian Rockies so plan to do regular hiking as preparation for the Camino.
I'm very much looking forward to this.
