Hi, I'm Brendan
Have walked to Santiago twice, once in 1996/97 from Le Puy and then again in 2005 walking from home - quite literally stepping out from my house in Tynemouth in the north of England - quite a long journey, it took 4 months. Met many interesting pilgrims and all kinds of weather.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

Hi Brendan,

Just read your post and am interested cos we're setting out in November from Le Puy. Also interested as i'm from the north-east of England - Stockton-on-Tees - although now living in Hobart, Tasmania - the end of the earth. You might have thought that was Finisterre but no, it's Tassie!!

Would be interested to hear of any places you stayed along the way, any hardships (what??) or whatever you think would be of interest.

Howay the lads,

Jennifer

I too would be interested to hear more Brendan. I leave on August 4th from Le Puy - aiming for Santiago - and am reading all relevant posts with interest.

I am leaving Adelaide (South Australia) on August 1st Jennifer - also from a southern clime.

regards, Janet
