2 weeks on Portuges route

I thought i would able to do the whole camino but niw i only have 2 weeks.
What is the nicest?
Not bothered about a compostela.

Hi Lucy, I did the coastal with my wife from Porto in 2 weeks last year ( including Variante Espiritual which for me is a must). We loved Portugal so much we are going back this year and walking from Valenca south to Fatima.

I agree - most people do Porto > Santiago in ten days, so that's plenty of time for short days and the Variante Espiritual. I agree with Mark that the V.E. is not to be missed.

I loved BOTH the Coastal and the Central on the Portuguese Way. Either choice would be fabulous.

Depending on how fast you walk, and if you actually have 14 full days, you could also consider the Primitivo. It is a glorious mountain walk. Click on the link to see how it can be done in that time. We took 13 days to do it, and even had one rest day in Lugo.

If you are not worried about getting to SdC, you could also consider the amazing route on the San Salvador, over the mountains from Leon to Oviedo, for 5-6 days, then continue on the Primitivo from Oviedo, (I recommend one day here to see the city), then 8 more days to Lugo, or however far you get. These days on the Primitivo, IMHO are the best anyway, especially if you have already walked from Melide to SdC where the Primitivo joins the French Way!

If you do the San Salvador, you can get the Salvadorana, a special certificate for completing the San Salvador, instead of the Compostela in Santiago! I thought that was kind of special!

I started in Porto at the cathedral and walked down to the river and along the river to the ocean. Then I walked along the seashore and boardwalks (the Senda Litoral) to Vila Chã. The next morning I continued along the coast to Vila do Conde where I turned right and headed towards the Central. I then walked the Central to Santiago de Compostela. All in, I took 13 days to walk it but I was taking it easy. The Village to Village guide had it in 12 days and Brierley has it in 11. Some people do it in 10. It should be eminently doable in two weeks.
