never know ... if one of you read this text... Im Marie Noelle , Maria Noella , Merry Christmas, and..now i m back home till beg' of june and in the work rush i never took time to say MERCI ! GRACIAS al Camino magico to welcome me between may and june , it was my first, full of emotions , discovery, never never boring, never never deceived (oh sorry : except by some dirty dishes on the way or some Grumpy ...frenchies complaining) and with my neverlasting optimism i thought i ll retrieve those whom i share and talk and laugh and put one step beyond one or two or three days after to ask them : "oh write me your adress i ll sent you a post card one time home " or " note a mail, here s mine, never know if we kept linked " /// i think of you my two good humor South African ladies Destiny played a crisscross on our roads at the begining of my Camino, i m sad my bad memory erase your names bouh ouh ouh , I think of you my Brazilian friend of the Orrison night on your 5th French Camino, wise and light laughing kindly of my heavy mochilla, i think of you my other Brazilian "retraité" celebrating your just new freedom of work with a slow walking so courageous, i think of you young and soft Polish companion of one evening a night and "quelques pas" we took fotos with your daddy and ... i m not sure to give you my mail... i think of you crazy Leonardo so italianaly jumping laughing telling with soul and ferveur " sur les bords de la Riviere Piedra je me suis aziz et j ai pleuré " taking photos with mumies and drawing as you breath , i think of imprononçable netherland young wise man (yeah i know i m succeed on the Camino but now life ate my brainmory) ...and so many other pilgrims ... if i can only tell something for those who, as me, will do the Camino frances for the 1st time its " do it ! never hesitate ! be light ! be confident ! open your mind and your heart to those numerous Angels flying on the Way ! Let the Way provide , every day, every smile ... and it will! never doubt ! " I m like a child waiting for the next one as my own "Sapin de Noel "

Marie, you were not alone, do you remember meeting me In Astorga? I was injured, I had to take three days off because I had sprained my Instep, I was sitting outside in a café having breakfast feeling sorry for myself and you were there, you were getting ready for the Days walk. We sat there and started to talk, we had a great conversation and spent a good hour together. You were so positive and upbeat and your feet were hurting so much, we shared so many things in such a brief period of time. I was feeling rather sorry for myself and a little envious of the fact that you were continuing the journey whiIe i was stuck nursing a sprained and wrapped foot. You embody the Camino spirit Marie, and you passed on words of wisdom that I’ll never forget. You told me to put my ego in my backpack and move it along, that my foot couldn’t take the added weight of the backpack for the next few days once I started walking. You told me to be kind to myself and enjoy the journey. You walked away Continuing your journey,but what you didn’t know is that you made a difference to the rest of my Camino. I did finish, I did walk into Santiago, And I did move that backpack along. Your smile is beautiful!

Diane.

OOOH YES Diane !! i really perfectly remember you and the exact scene and my small idea of a café con leche transformed in "morning break" (on the Camino i probably took 3 breakfast every morning hahaha) when i saw your sadness about your injury .
I was at the first part of my Way so bubbling of energy but my feet were strengthening too slowly on my idea;
It was a lovely conversation about your great Canadian land too if my memory s exact ? and children, gran children? etc... that the part of the Camino (often happened) i liked so much : crossing the roads of souls full of kindness and open to share !
I m so proud of your willingness and happy happy you walk into Santiago : that s great my dear !
me too but i "jumped" legs of the Way (3weeks for the entire road , i'm not Misruro hahaha) and you know next time i made to San Iago the promess to accomplish one by one every cut part of Camino , you'll join me who knows?
if you want my adress dont hesitate and keep being positive and volunteer !!
Hauts les cœurs camarade la Vie est une Belle Route Quotidienne
my smile and me kiss you
Marie
