Twice walked from St Jean to Estella and once from Sarria to Santiago. Maybe someday I'll find the time to do the entire walk.
I've found the time. Just completed SJPP to Santiago. 25 Aug to 1st Oct, 2016.
And now the Portuguese from Lisbon.
A lady from Canada, who I met on the Frances three years ago, has just walked with me from Le Puy to Cahors.
Towards the end of our walk she said she wasn't feeling very well and we got trains to Bayonne so she could fly from Bairritz to visit family in England.
I've just heard this morning that she's suffered a heart attack and is in intensive care in a London hospital.
A prayer for her and her family would be much appreciated.

I saw your post the other day, Stephen. How fortunate that you were able to accompany your friend, and also that she got to a safe place before she had her heart attack. Thanks for asking for prayers. That is also part of being on this forum, that you can count on this kind of support.

Oh, my.
I read the beginning of the thread thinking how wise she was to stop, so as to be able to finish another time.
But alas - from walking to that mysterious other journey, another kind of finish.
Sympathy and condolences for you and for her family. It must be a shock for everyone.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
