Abadin to Baamonde

Camino 2024 unknown starting 4/1 from somewhere.
This was a very long walk in an afternoon rain 39 to 40km's. The nice thing about it was the terrain was one of the easiest I can think of so far on the Norte. The Albergue is nice and clean. There are also several bars and a restaurant. This is 102km's from Santiago so now in the home stretch. Only walking 15km's today to Miraz. This is a large Albergue. Probably because of it's proximity to the 100km mark. Your choice is to walk from Gontan/Abadin to Vilalba 20km's or walk on to Baamonde another 20km's. There are two bars after Vilalba and no place to stay. Choose wisely.

Wow, Joe, looks like you'll arrive on Tuesday or Wed. in Santiago. Looking forward to making your acquaintance there. Buen camino, pilgrim! Laurie

I am planning on Tuesday afternoon. Stayed in Miraz last night. Looking at the monastery tonight. Then two 31 km days to Santiago.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.
