I have read several posts about a GREAT Albergue in Maneru ( just after Puenta de la Reina).
I have noticed that there are two or three different ones in that small town.
I’m wondering if anyone who has stayed in that town can let me know which one they felt was special?

In Maneru the private pilgrim albergue El Cantero is very nice. Here is their web.

Maneru. . . in 2017 it was the one location where everything was completo after a 46 km day to get there. My son and I had to go to a bar to order a taxi to take us to a different town. And then take a taxi back the next morning in order to pick up where we had left off. :)

Pleased to see that you walked with your son! In May 2017 I walked with my own youngest son from SJPdeP to Logrono. Priceless time together! ... (But we certainly didn't do any 46 km days!!! 46 km??? Are you mad???))

:) It just happened to work out that way. Once. Most days were along the lines of low to mid 30 kms.

...and ship it to Santiago for storage. You pick it up once in Santiago. Service offered by Casa Ivar (we use DHL for transportation).
